BROWSER POS

The till needs a connection

QuickKOT runs in the browser. The order, the bill, the kitchen display, and a supply from the central kitchen all need the internet. There is no offline billing mode.

What still works on paper

A kitchen order ticket that has already been printed stays in the kitchen. The cook can keep that slip. The pass does not lose a ticket that left the printer before the connection dropped.

A new order, a change to a bill, a payment on the till, and a count on a hub supply wait until the browser is online again.

A subscription payment is not an offline till

Some houses pay the QuickKOT plan by cash, card, UPI, or bank transfer instead of the payment gateway. That records the subscription. It does not turn the restaurant till into a system that bills with no connection.

Plans, including the free Basic plan, are on restaurant POS pricing. Chains that need Multi-Outlet start on Premium.

Questions

Can the till bill without the internet?

No. QuickKOT is a browser POS. Orders, bills, the kitchen display, and hub-and-spoke logistics need a connection. There is no offline billing mode.

What happens to a KOT already in the kitchen?

A ticket that was already printed stays on paper. The cook can keep firing from that slip. New orders and new bills wait until the browser is connected again.

Is a plan payment recorded as cash an offline till?

No. A QuickKOT plan can be settled by cash, card, UPI, or bank outside the payment gateway. That is a record of the subscription payment. It is not a restaurant till that runs without the internet.
